Financial Controller (Temporary / Consultant)

We are looking for a financial controller/consultant experienced in all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Finance controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management as well as the customization and implementation, including staff training, of the NetSuite ERP into our businesses processes. This is a temporary/contract position.

• Responsibilities • Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting • Research technical accounting issues for compliance • Support month-end and year-end close process • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls • Additional controller duties as necessary

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Financial controller • 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience • Advanced degree in Accounting preferred • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures • Experience with creating financial statements • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process • Excellent NetSuite accounting software user and administration skills

Direct Support Staff (Midland and Gladwin Locations)

We have a part-time opening for a Direct Support Staff. Must be able to work at least 3 shift(s) per week and be available weekdays.

• No experience required. • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. • Be authorized to work in the United States. • Must have reliable transportation. • Must be insurable with our insurance carrier. • Background check required.

Wage: $10.40

Responsible for providing direct support to our customers in the activities of their choosing including community based activities, community employment and manufacturing. The ability to develop and maintain good rapport with community based organizations and customers.
